Dear Friends,
Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my secret to staying youthful at 67. Honestly, It’s not a secret at all. It’s a collection of mindful choices I’ve made over the years that have become ingrained in my daily life.
First and foremost, I truly believe in the power of healthy, whole foods. Nourishing my body from the inside out. For decades, my diet has revolved around fresh vegetables, lean proteins, fruits, and plenty of water. It’s the foundation upon which everything else is built.
Beyond my diet, I make a conscious effort to take care of my skin. I keep it well-hydrated and moisturized, both day and night. Good skincare isn’t about expensive luxury products; it’s about consistency and giving your skin what it needs to thrive. I’ve found that adding a few drops of Rose Gold Oil by Dawn into my favorite moisturizer makes a significant difference. It’s become a staple in my routine.
But perhaps the most important thing, and something I think is consistently overlooked, is the ability to embrace change. Stagnation can make us look dated. I regularly update my hairstyle, wardrobe, and makeup to reflect both my personal style and current trends – all while staying true to what flatters me most. It’s not about chasing youth, it’s about evolving with confidence and feeling good in my own skin, at every age.
Being youthful is a combination of these habits. It’s about finding what works for you, embracing change, and loving the skin you are in.
I hope this helps provide clarity and inspires you to adopt some of these habits into your daily life.
Warmly,
Theresa
